On February 26th, 2008 at 6:23 AM we welcomed our newest member of the family -- Jake Thomas Flowers. He weighed in at a hefty 7 lbs 13 oz and was 20 inches long. We picked Jake because Jacqui's Dad and brother Jeff always called her Jake, and I really wanted to name him Thomas but she liked Jake better. Her brother Jon calls her Berschmackerber (or something like that), but that didn't seem like a good name for a baby. He he. He's definitely a squirmer, but he's a good eater and has already gained a couple ounces. Bradley has accepted him well and he's extremely gentle and loving with him. He loves to give Jake hugs and kisses.
Jacqui is doing well, with the exception of very little sleep, and enjoys having two wonderful boys to take care of. Anyways, I will post more pictures and stories later!

Welcome to the blogger world! Congratulations to you both! Jake is adorable!!! I'm glad to hear that you are all doing well. I can't wait to see more pics of the family. Thanks for the nice comment about my pictures. I really appreciate it! I'm having a blast learning more and more about photography. I shoot a Nikon D50 and use three lenses - the standard 18mm-55mm, a telephoto (70mm-300) and a really cool 60mm micro lens. I love it. Anyway, are you guys still in the valley? It would be fun to get together. Once you get settled and in a good routine with the newest addition. Congrats again and take care!
